We came to African venture capital from inside the reality of building African technology businesses.
Greenhouse Capital was established as the investment arm of Venture Garden Group. The team brought operating experience, a knowledge of capital scarcity and first-hand understanding of the structural gaps facing African businesses.
For the first decade, we backed early-stage founders across fintech, mobility, logistics and enterprise technology. Our portfolio includes Flutterwave, one of Africa’s fintech unicorns.
In 2026, we began a deliberate evolution: from deploying capital company by company to building a platform that makes capital formation repeatable across verticals and geographies.
